Joanna David is a Los Angeles based wardrobe stylist/costumer designer. Although graduating from the University of California Irvine with a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, Joanna's motivation and creative ability has lead her to a career in fashion.

She began her path in this industry in the visual merchandising world, working with companies such as BCBG, LF Stores, Nylon Magazine. Eventually she moved on to styling e-comm for luxury brands working with Revolve.com and FarFetch.com. Merging her love for dance and fashion has also lead her to design, create and fabricate costumes as a hobby for local dance shows in the Orange County/Los Angeles area.

Joanna's determination to succeed has motivated her to leave a 9-5 and pursue fashion styling full time in 2007. From editorials, lookbook campaigns, music videos and red carpet runways, some of her clients include NFL Network, Nylon Magazine, Nicki Minaj, American Idol, Drake, Terry Crews, Disney, NBC, Carl's Jr. and Lincoln Ford to name a few.

In the more recent years, Joanna has added film and tv to her resume with her first feature film Blumhouse's "Sleight" in 2015. Her love for movies and story telling has played such a role in her drive when costume designing a film project. She considers herself a true collaborator who is extraordinarily detail-oriented, considers colors and textures from an emotional perspective and strives to bring the director’s vision farther then they could have imagined.

Joanna has since then joined IATSE Costume Designers Guild 892 in November of 2018.
